Pastor
Rev. Joshua Daniels
Joshua is a Pine Mountain native who returned home to serve First Baptist Church. He and his wife Ashleigh were married on New Year's Eve in 2022 and find their greatest joy in ministry through building relationships within the church and walking alongside people in their everyday lives. Joshua's heart is in helping others to see the church not as an organization to join, but as a family to belong to.
Music Director
Lanier Bone
Lanier was born and raised in Rome, Georgia and attended Sherwood Forest Baptist Church. At the age of 6, he began studying his older sister's piano lessons and while teaching himself the basics, immediately fell in love with music. Lanier married his wife, Leslie September 14, 2020, and last year they settled permanently in the Pine Mountain area. His call to serve with his music background has found God's perfect timing being led to First Baptist, Pine Mountain.
Ministry Assistant
Michelle Teasley
Michelle is a mother of 6 sons and grandmother of 5. As a pastors kid, she has a lifetime of ministry experience under her belt, and 16 of those years were as a professional ministry assistant. Her husband John is a Pine Mountain local. They have been married for 10 years.
Our Deacons
First Baptist Church of Pine Mountain believes that Deacon Family Ministry is a vital part of how we care for one another within our church. Each deacon is assigned specific families to build relationships with over time, offering consistent love, support, and prayer. They serve as a personal point of connection to the larger church body, helping families feel seen, supported, and spiritually encouraged. Through regular check-ins and a heart to serve, our deacons reflect the love of Christ and help strengthen the sense of family within our church community.
